This 100 micron, size #2 (7.06″ W x 32″ L) extended surface pleat polyester felt liquid filter bag is designed to provide both high-dirt holding capacity as well as high flow rate. Silicone-free, pleated design offers two layers of nominal felt to create pre- and final-filter layers inside bag. Made to fit most standard Size #2 strainer baskets, this filter bag meets FDA regulations for food contact under CFR21, Section 177.1520. Under normal operating conditions, this bag filter offers an extended service life four times that of a standard nominal bag. Extended surface pleat bag filters can reduce operation costs as they do not need to be changed as frequently – reducing downtime, cutting labor costs and replacement filter fees .
